1. Every user’s authenticy is verified by Dinehome

   Each user is required to provide their tax code to activate the service. The accuracy of this information is verified automatically and anonymously by the Italian government’s digital services, allowing us to guarantee the utmost integrity of the community.

2. You control who sees your profile and can contact you

   Your profile always remains private and is only shown to your matched profile. Your contact information is only revealed once both parties have given permission to start the connection. Dinehome always protects your personal information and keeps it confidential.

3. You manage the connection and can report issues independently

   You can manage your match and send reports to the Dinehome team directly from your profile. If your match is disrespectful or makes you feel uncomfortable, you can end the experience and report inappropriate behavior via the “Report user” button. Reports are handled with the highest priority and remain confidential.

Now here are some tips to help you get the most out of the Dinehome experience:

1. Text and video call your matched profile

   Start talking to your match through your preferred messaging channel (WhatsApp, email, etc.) to clear up any doubts and verify the profile’s authenticity yourself. Additionally, you can arrange a video call. We encourage you to report any suspicious profiles immediately.

2. Always tell someone you trust who you are having dinner with

   Share the time and location of your first dinner with a trusted friend. You can suggest meeting your match in a public place first to get to know each other and break the ice, depending on everyone’s availability.

3. Save local emergency numbers

   In case of an emergency, contact local emergency services immediately. We invite you to familiarize yourself with local emergency contacts (dial 112 in Italy).
